We shouldn’t be surprised if images or specs of a device have leaked prior to its announcement. A couple of days ago, the Taiwanese manufacturer has officially announced the new mid-range spec’d HTC Desire C handset, which will be reasonable priced aiming budget goers. Now we do have quite a few new details about the unannounced HTC Ville C handset courtesy of the folks over at BriefMobile website. They’ve managed to unearth the specs sheet of the upcoming HTC Ville C handset.
According to the leaked memo, the HTC Ville C should sport the following features:
# Ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS
# HTC Sense 4.5 UI
# 4.3-inch AMOLED/LCD display with qHD resolution (540 X 960 pixels)
# 8 MP rear-facing primary camera with Image Chip technology
# 1080p HD video recording capability
# 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8260 dual-core processor
# 1GB RAM
# 16GB onboard storage
# 1650mAh battery
# And it packs “ultra-slim” body
It looks like the leaked tech specs sheet is having typographical errors. The new HTC One S and One X handsets are now shipping with HTC Sense 4.0 UI, while the HTC One V will have Sense 3.6 UI. But, the sheet mentioned about HTC Sense 4.5 UI for Ville C. The manufacturer may have already begun working on Sense 4.5 UI. No word on Beats Audio integration part for Ville C. Budget priced HTC Desire C handset is having Beats Audio integration, so the upcoming Ville C also should get that enhanced audio technology.
Previously, the HTC One S is also known as Villeand this clue is leading to believe that the HTC Ville C is the cheaper version of the One S device.
