HTC Ville is one of the Android phones that will be officially announced at this year’s big MWC event in next month. Back in November, we saw its first render image. Today, the HTC Ville handset first video overview by an Android enthusiast. The video shows of its new sense version (v4.0), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, and its official specs list. HTC Ville handset is rumored to be released by T-Mobile. Unfortunately, the user has pulled the video. According to the video walkthrough, here are the features of the HTC Ville handset:
# Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
# 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD 960 X 540 pixels of resolution.
# HTC Sense 4.0 UI customizations.
# Slim profile.
# Dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
# 1GB RAM.
# 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p recording capability using the higher-quality lens and sensor.
# An additional front-facing VGA shooter.
# Bluetooth 4.0.
# 3 capacitive buttons below the screen – Menu, Home and Back.
Why not a 720p display instead of the out-dated qHD display? Why HTC, why? So, the above specs are clearly pointing that HTC Ville handset is a mid-range spec’d handset, not a flagship device. Some more shots from the video after the break.
