A couple of weeks ago, we heard about the HTC’s upcoming and its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered smartphone called, HTC Ville. We were also told that this handset will be less than 8mm thick. Well, the folks over PocketNow have leaked the first press shot of the HTC Ville handset. PocketNow also claims that the Ville should be the slimmest handset from the Chinese manufacturer.
According to the previous leak, HTC Ville will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, featuring 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD pixels of resolution, 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera, HSPA+ capability and there will be a 1650mAh battery underneath the back cover. This handset will be equipped with Beats-Audio technology, to make it more desirable.

At under 8 millimeters thick, the Ville is shaping-up to be thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S II @ 8.5mm and that fatty iPhone 4S @ 9.3mm. But, it can’t beat the Motorola Droid RAZR, which is “impossibly thin” at 7.1 millimeters. Look for the HTC Ville in next April after the Mobile World Congress event, which is going to be scheduled in February.
