Huawei’s Nova series is gearing up for a release, with three new variants set to debut: Nova 11, Nova 11 Pro, and Nova 11 Ultra. The company has released a teaser video ahead of the launch on April 17, providing a glimpse of the new smartphone’s design. The device features an oval-shaped camera system and a green plain leather back panel, embossed with “nova” all around the background. With this new release, Huawei is set to offer consumers a refreshed design and improved features in the highly-competitive smartphone market.
Digital Chat Station, a well-known source of leaks, has recently shared a detailed list of specifications for the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra will feature a large 6.78-inch display with curved edges and a high resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels. The screen will also have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1440Hz PWM high-frequency dimming display. These features are expected to provide users with a smooth and responsive visual experience.
The upcoming Huawei Nova 11 Ultra is rumored to be powered by a robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset. Although it was previously tested with the higher-end Snapdragon 8+ chipset, the 778G is a more budget-friendly alternative that will likely result in a more cost-effective device for consumers.
The Nova 11 series will feature a triple camera setup with a cylindrical shape on the rear, similar to the Huawei P60. The top model of the series, the Nova 11 Ultra, will include a periscope zoom lens for improved telephoto photography.
The camera setup of the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra will remain noteworthy, with its impressive dual front-facing cameras boasting 60MP and 8MP sensors. These cameras are expected to be located within a pill-shaped cutout situated in the top left corner of the display. Additionally, the front camera is said to have a 2X telephoto zoom, which should enhance the device’s photography capabilities.
The Nova 11 Ultra has an impressive triple rear camera system that comprises a 50MP lens with an RYYB color array to capture brighter images. The primary camera also features variable aperture technology, while the second camera is an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens that allows for capturing wide-scene photography. The device also has a dedicated macro camera for close-up shots.
The Huawei Nova 11 Ultra has a 4500mAh battery that can be charged with a 100W super-fast charger, providing quick and convenient charging for the device. It has a slim profile, measuring only 7.99mm in width and weighing 188 grams, making it easy to carry around.
