Infinix has been working on to bring the new Hot 20 series of smartphones into the markets and now the company confirmed on its Taiwan based Instagram account that the launch is just around the corner – specifically on Thursday, October 6. Google is also launching the Pixel 7 phones on the same day.
Infinix’s launch event poster details the event will start at 4PM local time in Thailand. The manufacturer has also tipped some of the key specs of the Infinix Hot 20. According to the source, the device sports a bigger display and it will be powered by a MediaTek processor .
Specs wise, the Infinix Hot 20 will be offered with a 6.78 LCD screen with FHD resolution that delivers 120Hz refresh rate. It comes equipped with MediaTek Helio G96 octa core chipset under the hood. There will be 5 gigabytes of RAM combined with 128GB of internal storage as storage option.
There is no word yet on the camera setup and battery details. But the device is expected to ship with 50 megapixel camera, and a bigger 6,000mAh battery under the hood, just like its predecessor Hot 12 phone.
That’s all the information we have for today, but we will see more leaks that surface detailing the specs of the device in the days leading up to the launch event. The company has also planned to launch its first 200MP camera phone, called the Infinix Zero Ultra on October 5.
