As a blow to the iPad 2 fans, Apple’s online store now shows increased shipping delays from 2-3 weeks to 4-5 weeks. As we had reported earlier that iPad 2 ordered online will be shipped within 2 to 3 weeks, but it seems Apple is now unable to meet the required orders and they are forced to increase the wait time. This is a sad news for the users desperately waiting for the device which might not be delivered for over a month now.
Another restriction seen is the limit of 2 per order. Meaning we can order only 2 iPads at a time. This is clearly a precautionary measure from Apple. We hope the devices might get shipped earlier than expected. iPad 2 is also on sale at various other stores like AT&T, Target, Verizon Wireless, Best Buy, and Walmart.

How is it that Apple can’t foresee this type of situation? I mean, they are a huge company. They knew how successful the first iPad was surely they must have assumed the iPad 2 would be even more successful. I don’t get it.
