As Apple gears up its production ecosystem for the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup scheduled for release in September, the tech community continues to uncover hardware leaks. The latest leak is a set of front glass panels that are reportedly intended for use in the upcoming iPhone 15 series. The well-known hardware leaker, ShrimpApplePro, has shared in a pair of videos that he claims is authentic and based on a reliable source.
According to ShrimpApplePro, they have confirmed with a reliable source that the front glass panels showcased in the leaked video are authentic components intended for use in the upcoming iPhone 15 series.
If the information from the sources turns out to be believed, we’re getting a more detailed glimpse of the iPhone 15 lineup, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. All three devices feature a Dynamic Island pill-shaped cutout for the selfie camera and FaceID sensors. However, the Pro models stand out with their notably slimmer bezels, as compared to the regular iPhone 15, which is speculated to be reusing the panels from the previous-generation 14 Pro series.
The leaked video provides a closer look at the front glass panels that seem to match our expectations for the iPhone 15 series. The left panel seems to belong to the iPhone 15 Pro, featuring a standard display size and a Dynamic Island with notably slimmer bezels than its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro.
In the middle, we see the largest panel, which is likely the front glass for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It also boasts a Dynamic Island at the top, and the larger screen size further emphasizes the ultra-thin bezels.
The combination of an ultra-thin bezel and a subtle curve is expected to create a more immersive display than any previous iPhone screen. This feature will be available in both the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
Finally, the third panel’s distinguishing factor is its comparatively thicker border. This is the same bezel width that we already see in the iPhone 14 lineup, with the upgrade of a Dynamic Island for the non-Pro models in the iPhone 15 series. If the leaked information proves accurate, we can expect to see these sleek design elements in the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup.

According to recent reports on Chinese blogs, the Pro models of the iPhone 15 lineup are set to receive an upgraded 2.5D arc edge processing, resulting in a more pronounced curve on the display edges. While this is expected to enhance the visual appeal of the device, it may make it slightly challenging to apply a screen protector. Additionally, it is rumored that the frame borders will be trimmed down by around 0.5mm, resulting in a sleeker look for the device.
We previously covered various leaks related to the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup, including crude renders of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, computer-aided design (CAD) renders of the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro, as well as live images of the iPhone 15. confirming the presence of the USB-C port, and Dynamic Island.
