Making the rounds today is a new rumored device, called Samsung Galaxy Note III, concerning next Note phablet iteration. Did you ever think 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II is very small. Late last year, Korea Times reported that it will incorporate a behemoth 6.3-inch display. That means, it would be bigger than the recently launched Huawei Ascend Mate’s 6.1-inch display.
According to a latest report, the South Korean is planning to integrate the just announced eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor inside the rumored Note III. Samsung unveiled the new Exynos 5 Octa CPU at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. will combine a set of quad-core chips, to provide superior performance and better battery life and it is based on the ARM big.LITTLE / Cortex A15 architecture using a 28 nm process. The manufacturer also noted that it has got two times the performance in 3D gaming than anything else on the market, including Samsung’s own Exynos 4 Quad SoC seen in the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II.
There’s no info on other hardware parts and launch dates of the Galaxy Note III. We guess it is expected to be announced in September at IFA 2013, and will go for sale a few weeks later. Anyhow, we will be hearing about the Note III a whole lot more in the coming months.
On the other side, we’ve been seeing leaked images and hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S IV handset. We’ve seen Samsung teasing it on its website. Some official reports claimed that it won’t be launched before May. And yeah. the manufacturer has already started working on a tablet called Galaxy Note 8.0.
