Along with the press shots of the Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, the company has also uploaded the press shots of the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet online. This is not the first time we are hearing about this tablet. This has been in talks for a while now. According to the previous leak, the Lenovo Ideapad K1 is set to hit the OfficeMax stores with a price tag of $499.99. It is resembling a lot like Lenovo LePad, though the tablet has been slightly updated since we first saw it.
Lenovo IdeaPad K1 comes packed with Aluminium rear casing, and it will be shipping with the tablet optimized operating system Android 3.0 Honeycomb, including a 10.1-inch multi-touch LCD screen with 1,280 × 800 resolution, powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor with 1GB RAM, dual front and rear cameras – 5 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front facing, SIM card slot, 32GB internal memory storage, a micro-SD card slot, a micro HDMI out, docking port, and it should provide 10 hours of battery life. The tablet is rumored to be pre-installed with Netflix app. The previously leaked Lenovo LePad was said to be having Snapdragon processor under the hood. As the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is a 10.1-inch sized tablet, it should be running with the updated version of the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS.
Price & Availability
The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet is set ot launch tomorrow, an the tablet will start shipping in Japan next month. The exact release date, price info, U.S. launch date haven’t been provided by Lenovo yet. Check out the more images after the break.
