It looks like MetroPCS is gearing up to launch a new mid-range spec’d 4G LTE capable LG-made handset – LG Connect 4G. The folks over PocketNow website have leaked first render of the LG Connect 4G (MS840) handset. According to the source, LG Connect 4G will feature the following specifications.
# 4-inch WVGA Nova display.
# Dual-core processor, 1GB RAM.
# 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and an additional front-facing VGA shooter for forwarding video chats.
# 4GB built-in storage.
..and all the regular features of an Android phone including microSD card slot for memory expansion support 32GB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB and much more.
According to recent DLNA Certification details, the same handset is also making it way to Verizon and Sprint as VS840 and LS840 respectively. Both variants will pack 4G LTE radios. Verizon’s VS840 is being listed as “LTE Dual Core Smart Phone NOVA Display Stylish design,” while the Sprint’s version of the LS840 is going to be “4 inch NOVA Display LTE Dual Core Smart Phone for Sprint.” Yes, Sprint is about launch its own LTE network in this year.
