The LG Connect 4G that we already know is coming to MetroPCS, but another carrier variant of the LG Connect 4G handset details emerged online. This handset has been spotted passing through FCC, bearing the model number VS840 with CDMA/EVDO connectivity, as well as LTE band 13. If my intelligence is accurate, Verizon is using LTE band 13 for its 4G LTE services.
So we can say Verizon could be 2nd destination for the LG Connect 4G handset on its 4G LTE lineup in the near future. Now all we need to know is when the LG Connect 4G VS840 handset will go up for sale. As it is a mid-range spec’d device, Verizon is expected to make it available for a price tag ranging between $99 – $149.99. Verizon is currently selling the 4G LTE capable high-end spec’d LG Spectrum for $199.99. Sprint will also introduce its own version of the LG Connect 4G handset with LS840 model number.
LG Connect 4G handset comes with a 4” NOVA display covered with Gorilla Glass, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording capability, a front-facing shooter, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, Dolby Mobile sound, pre-loaded Rhapsody Unlimited Music service and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
