Yesterday, after hearing numerous rumors about the LG’s rumored Nexus, LG E960 support manuals confirmed the Nexus 4 name and it is expected to be running the latest Android 4.2 OS.
Earlier this month, LG’s rumored Nexus device was listed in the Carphone Warehouse inventory system. More evidences revealed that the upcoming Nexus smartphone will be made by LG for Google and it was labeled as the “LG Nexus 4”. But at that time no source could confirm its official name. Today, LG published its name same as we expected earlier along with its support manuals. The above picture contained in the support manuals indicate that the device has an induction coil for wireless charging and excludes any microSD slot for additional storage.
We reported a week ago that after publishing few photos of this Nexus smartphone from the XDA developers, one more leaked image and specs released by @evleaks, courtesy of Twitter have made the LG Nexus 4 looks like reality. The rumored device will mostly be unveiled on October 29 as confirmed by LG India Official. The LG executive mentioned that the device will have a 4.7-inch display, Android 4.2, and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.
The rumored LG Nexus 4 is expected to have similar specifications to the LG Optimus G, which may come with a 2GB of RAM with a 1280 x 768 True-High Definition IPS display, plus an 8 megapixel camera and a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage.
We will bring more information on Monday, October 29.
