The latest Android Smartphone from Google, and manufactured by LG, the Nexus 4 has been a newsmaker everywhere in the world. It has kept many fans and potential customers on their toes. Owning one is quite a difficult task in many parts of the world. You might be already aware that this device is quite chaotic in terms of availability. The device was sold out within 20 minutes of its availability on the US Google Play Store.
Indian new Website, IBNLive earlier reported that the LG is planning to introduce the Nexus 4 to Indian markets in January this year. Now surprisingly the LG India website has added the the device model number “E960” to the product registration page. But it has some confusion, they have added the device under Others instead of Android Phones or Smartphones as shown in the screen shot. We have found that even though the device is listed, we were unable to go ahead to the device registration page( goes to 404 error page).

In countries like India also, thirsty buyers have been eagerly waiting for the drought hit device. There you need to be rich to own a Nexus 4, as the device with 16GB storage and Unlocked is sold at eBay even for INR40.000, that comes to approximately $730. Whereas the unlocked device in US costs $249 and $349 for the 8GB and 16GB variants. But in US too the device is selling like hot cake for $500 at eBay. These price increases are due to lack of availability of the phone. Recently we reported that the pre-orders Booked in November 2012, are shipped in December end. Even the Google UK Boss apologized for the delay. Moreover the device did not feature much in Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals due to the same reason.
