Just a couple of days ago, Verizon has released the new 4G LTE capable mid-range spec’d LG Lucid 4G handset. Now, we already seeing signs of a new firmware update for this handset. The new firmware update is a minor one, bumping up the software version up to VS840ZV5 from VS840ZV3. Verizon has published support docs on its website for the LG Lucid handset about the new firmware update.
The latest software update VS840ZV5 is set to roll out for disabling the Enhanced Caller Name ID app of the LG Lucid 4G handset. Verizon hasn’t mentioned the real reason behind the work instead of preparing a fix for it. Could it be bloatware?
