A few days ago, we got to see the leaked image of the Sprint branded handset through a demo video of the special white version of the HTC EVO 3D handset by RadioShack and a few hours ago, a press shot of the same handset has been leaked online. Yes, we are talking about the LG Marquee, which is Sprint re-branded version of the LG Optimus Black handset. Sprint has just announced the Android OS powered LG Marquee handset. Like, the original Optimus Black, the LG Marquee is sporting al the same specifications & and the same handset under the hood, except the Android OS version. LG Optimus Black has got the out-dated Android 2.2 Froyo OS, while the Marquee will be shipping with the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

However, the press release haven’t confirmed the 4G WiMAX capability for the LG Marquee handset.
Price & Availability
Pre-order for LG Marquee will start form September 20 to September 27th at Sprint’s online stores for $99.99 and will land on October 2 for the same price tag with eligible upgrade or a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card.
The buyers if this handset should subscribe for Sprint Everything Data plan which will run at a combined $79.99 (including the $10 premium fee for smartphones).
