You may or may not aware that Google is gearing up to announce the LG-made Nexus 4 handset at its Android event on October 29th. If you are waiting for this device and want to get your hands-on the LG Nexus 4 handset, we’ve some good news for you. The LG Nexus 4’s page went live at Carphone Warehouse a little while ago and the retailer is letting the users to pre-order it. The retailer has used the same image that was leaked yesterday (Twitter courtesy of @evleaks), which showed off the new positions for clock and battery indicator widgets.
Carphone Warehouse has also revealed everything about the Nexus 4 phone that we already know. Here’s a quick rundown of its specs from Carphone website:
# 4.7" LCD screen with 768 x 1280 pixels
# Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection
# Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with quad-core processor at 1.5GHz
# 2GB of RAM.
# 8+MP rear camera (that’s in fact 8Mpix) to record 1080p HD videos @ 30fps

The retailer has also listed the handset with Android 4.2 OS, but the dedicated webpage hasn’t confirmed whether or not the LG Nexus 4 handset will be shipped with Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie OS and the handset hasn’t also been mentioned with 4G LTE capability. It looks like the phone will be available with 8GB only. Yesteryear’s Galaxy Nexus was first offered with 16GB onboard storage. The retailer has also specified “Storage Capacity” feature for the Nexus 4, so it might be also having bigger capacities than 8GB.
U.K. based Vodafone and O2 customers can pre-order the LG Nexus 4 handset for free with a 2 year contract agreement, subscribing for a £31/month plan. Hit the link below to grab the LG Nexus 4 from Carphone Warehouse. According to the pre-order page, the phone is supposed to be shipped on October 30.
