As LG have announced during it’s first(world’s first too!) dual-core smartphone launch, LG Optimus 2X hits the home country Korea for 270,000 won($242) with 1 year contract through SK Telecom Operators. What interesting thing we’ve here is a white version of LG Optimus 2X to come out in South Korea by next month February.
LG Optimus 2X is running on NVIDIA’s 1GHz Tegra processor with Android 2.2 Froyo(will be upgradable to Gingerbread) and having 4-inch WVGA display, HD 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording capability, HDMI mirroring, 8 Megapixels rear facing & 1.3 Megapixels front facing cameras, 8GB inbuilt storage, a micro-SD slot for adding 32GB more, DLNA support, an accelerometer, a gyro sensor and 1,500mAh battery. It can also display that content on the internal display and to an HDTV via HDMI.

So LG Optimus 2X goes on sale in Korea now and it will release very soon in Europe later, and hit the rest of the world shortly after that – although “when exactly” is unknown for now. Optimus 2X is expected to release in US in march through T-Mobile carriers.
