LG has just announced another Android Smartphone LG Optimus Black. We can note lot of ‘firsts’ about this handset. This is the world’s first slimmest phone measuring 9.2mm thick only. It also includes world’s first Wi-Fi Direct for quick and high-quality data transfer between mobile devices and it is having a 2 Megapixels front-facing camera and weighing 109 grams only.
LG Optimus Black boasts 4-inch NOVA display (9700 nits of brightness for a white display like Web-browsers) that gives true black and white colors for ideal handset viewing. It will launch with Android Froyo installed with the Optimus UI 2.0 for direct access to messages, emails and missed calls from the locked screen and the handset can be upgradable to the latest version Gingerbread and the device also featuring Gesture UI, which gives more flexibility for gesture commands and it is having a 1500mAh battery on the board.
LG Optimus Black will be released globally in first half of 2011. This handset is gong to unveil at CES 2011 on tomorrow.. So more updates will be coming soon.
