Just a few moments ago, we reported that manufacturer is to bring its latest and greatest Android phone, LG Optimus G Pro to South Korea very soon. Somehow, LG has hardly managed to keep the Optimus G Pro handset mostly a secret up, but it seems someone from PhoneArena‘s tipsters has got his hands on this handset. The LG Optimus G Pro is the successor to the yesteryear’s Optimus G and features a slew of top of the line specs. We can say that we are looking at the real device and LG is working hard to bring this beast on the market as soon as possible.
Today, we are finally able to get a good look at this beast, and it looks very solid. The device you’re seeing in the above image is the Korean carrier LG U+ branded LG Optimus G Pro handset.
The source has also come up with a stunning specs sheet of the handset. It boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS-LCD with 1080p resolution. On the inside,it will utilize a powerful 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon. In addition, it will be backed by 2GB of RAM and possibly microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB. The device will also have 13 MP rear-facing shooter, and 2 MP snapper on front, which can forward 1080 video chats, and there’s a 3,140mAh battery that hides on back side of the device.
Connectivity wise, it has got Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, LTE/HSPA+ connectivity, Slim port, which combines HDMI and RGB ports. We can safely assume the tablet will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
