The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 is scheduled at Las Vegas next week. Among the many manufacturers who are looking to surprise the consumers with new, shiny, attractive devices, LG is also preparing, with plans to introduce its latest flagship device, LG Optimus G2, successor of the Optimus G.
The device is expected to have a 5.5-inch 1080 screen display, a built-in radio with LTE support, and 2.0 GHz SoC which would be a Prime Model, the MSM8974. It is reported that the device will be Android powered device but not sure which version.
Like LG’s plan, Chinese mobile manufacturer, Huawei is also gearing up to debut series of new handsets including Huawei Ascend D2, Huawei Ascend Mate and Huawei Ascend W1. The first two devices are Android powered devices and last one is Windows Phone 8 device. These are just a couple from the ocean of Manufacturers that will be there at CES including Samsung and Apple.
Last year in November, a rumor from a Korean publication showed that LG is planning to unveil Optimus G2 next year alongside with Samsung’s Galaxy S IV. But it seems the latter will only be present for the executives behind closed doors at the event, not for consumers.
As the device is expected to be unveiled at CES, we are hoping that more information will be soon shortly.
