Looks like LG is prepping to announce a new Android phone in the coming weeks. The folks over have managed publish the first preview video of the yet-to-be announced LG Optimus LTE P936 handset, which will join the Optimus LTE line-up very soon. Looks wise, LG Optimus LTE P936 hanset is almost identical to the Korea based LG Optimus LTE SU640 handset, which has ben outed since a few months,
LG Optimus LTE P936 comes with a 720p AH-IPS LCD display with 320 ppi, 1.5GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor under the hood, 8 megapixels rear-facing camera on the back side to record 1080p HD videos and LTE connectivity and it has performed a quadrant score of 2564, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS running the full show and we believe it will be upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS build in the near future or don’t surprise if it ships with ICS out-of-the box.
The source hasn’t mentioned the full specifications of the LG Optimus LTE P936 handset. AT&T branded LTE based LG Nitro HD has got the model no. P930, which is close to that of the unannounced Optimus LTE P936 and Verizon is currently selling the LTE capable LG Spectrum handset. So, Sprint could be the official carrier that may launch this device through its LTE network in the States. As for when the handset will arrive, which carrier will bring it..we don’t have an official answer any more. Head over tothe source link for more images.
