The 4G LTE capable LG Revolution smartphone might have a confirmed release date. As usual, we typically rely on the leaked inventory system documents or a trusted source, but this time LG might have done all the work themselves. Recently, HTC has also revealed the release date of T-Mobile branded HTC Sensation 4G as June 8th, through the HTC sponsored advertisement and press shots during the announcement shows the HTC weather widget for June 8 too.
In the same way, the latest press shots of LG Revolution also revealing the release date as May 25th, 2011. Verizon may allow the customers to pre-order the LG Revolution handset, starting from May 25th, Wednesday. Since it is only 25 days away, it shouldn’t be too long until we find it out. So for the moment May 25th is the date to mark in on your calendar.
The handset was launched at CES 2011 event in January but we still don’t have exact info regarding the release date from Verizon. Specs wise, LG Revolution is having 1 GHz chipset, 4.3″ touch display, 5MP camera with LED flash, 720p HD video capturing capability, 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera for video chat, HDMI port, DLNA, Wi-Fi, 16GB onboard storage, DivX support and more.

LG revolution would be the first Android device to support Netflix app and you should note that the app will also come pre-installed with the device. According a leaked promo material, lG Revolution is set to come with a price tag $249.99, same as that of the HTC Thunderbolt.
