We’ve been hearing many things about the Sprint branded HTC EVO 3D, and the upcoming Motorola Droid Bionic handsets for a while now. But, we should not forget about the second U.S. based 3D-fangled handset. The AT&T customers must be waiting to get their hands on the carrier’s first 3D-fangled device, the LG Thrill 4G, which is also known as LG Optimus 3D through the rest of the world. On June 23rd, AT&T has announced that it is set to launch the LG Thrill 4G handset by this summer. Its almost a month now since the announcement, but the carrier has yet to provide the exact release date and the price of the handset. Folks over Engadget have received two screenshots from RadioShack insiders, revealing some exciting details about the AT&T branded Optimus 3D handset. According to the leaked screenshot, it has been confirmed that you can head over to a local RadioShack stores, and reserve the LG Thrill 4G handset by purchasing a $50 gift card. The handset will be available for general sale starting August 7th.
Another screenshot has revealed out that the LG Thrill 4G handset can be purchased just for $79.99 on a two-year contract with the carrier. It will cost you $549.99 sans the contract as a full retail price. This is an incredible low price tag, where as the Sprint branded HTC EVO 3D is available for $99.99 at RadioShack right now.
