Here it is. It’s official now. Sprint has released a press release confirming the handset will indeed launch on April 22nd.
Exactly a week go, Sprint has officially announced the lunch details and the pre-order availability details of the LG Viper 4G handset. As announced earlier, the carrier has now started taking pre-orders for its first-ever 4G LTE capable LG Viper handset. Users can place an order on the mid-range spec’d LG Viper 4G handset for $99.99.
Here’s a quick look at the specs of the LG Viper handset:

Sprint has yet to confirm the exact release date of the LG Viper 4G handset. According to the previous rumors, it should hit the shelves on April 22nd and Sprint has also mentioned on the dedicted pre-order page that “We’ll do our best to get it to you before others get a glimpse on Sunday, April 22.” Hopefully, Sprint will announce the release date and the price info of the another 4G LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset.
