Motorola has announced the next smartphone in the affordable g series – moto g72. It will be available in India from October 3rd through Flipkart site and select offline stores across the country. It is downgraded version of the moto g71 5G phone which launched earlier this year. It runs on MediTek Helio processor, but doesn’t have 5G connectivity on the board.
it has 6.55-inch FHD+ screen with in-screen fingerprint scanner, while Motorola claims it would be the first phone to hit Indian markets with a 10-bit 120Hz pOLED screen with 576Hz touch sampling rate in the segment. It also comes with and 1300 nits peak brightness and HDR10 support.
Under the hood, you will get MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM combined with 128GB/256GB internal storage. For photography, it has 108MP rear camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with depth option and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling support, there is a 16-megapixel camera on front side.
Users can rock the stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos integration, and it will be fueled by a a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging speeds. The device ships with MyUI based Android 12 OS out of the box in Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue colours. There is now word on price details yet. We will know more details on October 3rd.
