A couple of days ago, we heard about the plausible release date as February 9th for Verizon’s next 4G LTE capable Motorola Droid 4 handset. Now, a leaked screenshot of the Verizon Equipment Guide is suggesting that Motorola Droid 4 will hit all channels on February 10th, Friday. That is only only one day later than expected Feb.9th date. a Verizon branded handset releasing on Friday is sounding a little odd, as we’ve been seeing most of the Verizon devices releasing on Thursdays only. in fact, Motorola Droid RAZR handset released on a Friday (November 11). Anyhow, we are just a few days away to see Droid 4 handsets finally hitting the stores.
Motorola Droid 4 will indeed be available to purchase for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement. The phone comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread out-of-the-box, a 4.0″ qHD 960×540 display, powered by dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage with microSD expansion up to 32GB, an 8MP shooter on the back capable of recording 1080p video.
