The Motorola Droid Bionic, Motorola’s upcoming 4G LTE enabled smartphone for Verizon is going to be launched within a month if the recently leaked screenshot is to be believed. Motorola has been saying that the device would be available sometime in “summer” and looks like we’re closing in on a possible release date. According to a screen shot (posted below) received by the folks at Android Central, Motorola Droid Bionic could well be launching on August 4th, which is the date indicated in the screenshot.
Motorola Droid Bionic was initially announced at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. But Motorola has delayed the device as it wanted to do some hardware and design modifications before finalising the release, which Motorola said would be in this “summer”. If released, it’s going to be one of the first dual-core LTE phones to be available on Verizon.
The screenshot also has a mention of the Motorola Droid 3’s launch date as “July 14th” which is in concord with what we have already seen earlier.
Excited about Droid Bionic? We too are. But don’t take this date as final. Unless the manufacturer says something official, these dates are always subject to change.
