Verizon Wireless just announced that Android 2.2 Froyo powered Motorola DROID Pro would be available for pre-order at selected Verizon Wireless stores and its online stores from November 9 and will be available for general sales from Nov 18th. According to Verizon, this is the first Android based smartphone optimized for business use.
Droid Pro is a Global-ready Android smartphone that works with quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS/HSPA capabilities and it also comes with 3G Mobile Hot Spot capabilities, Wi-Fi b/g/n and runs on TI OMAP 1 GHz processor with dedicated GPU on board.
Motorola DROID Pro sports Portrait full QWERTY key board, 3.1″ touchscreen with 480×320 pixels (HVGA) TFT touch display, 5 Megapixel camera with with auto focus, touch–to–focus, and face detection, panoramic modes, low–light capability, and 720p DVD quality video recording capability, 2GB internal memory for emails, texts, and apps, 2GB pre–installed microSDcard (expandable to 32GB) and some more.
