Motorola DROID Pro has just appeared in Verizon’s test site stating that the smartphone will be available for $299, launching November 11. Its more like BlackBerry integrated by Android, equipped with a BlackBerry keyboard at bottom.
Verizon has reportedly put up a test page on its website, which showed both the release date and the price tag $299 on contract and as much as $700 unsubsidized, which is very expensive for a smartphone which don’t have Super AMOLED screen and its not integrated with 4G option also. Smartphones are expensive these days, however. Since its showed on test site, there may be a chance for some price changes to take place when it will be finally announced for launching. Otherwise, it would be the most expensive Android device, pricing $299 for a two-year contract.
DROID Pro sports 3.0 TFT capacitive touch display, Portrait full Qwerty key board, Android 2.2 OS, 1GHz processor, 5 MP camera with dual LED flash & digital zoom, DVD quality video recording capability, DLNA capability, 3G, HSPA, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot support up to 32GB.
