Last year, we had the Motorola DROID Pro with Verizon Wireless, sporting a full QWERTY keypad located at below a and touchscreen display. Motorola is now gearing up to bring one more Android powered smartphone similar to it, Motorola i1Q and it is sporting the Nextel logo on the back side of the device, hence we can confirm it as an iDEN handset. Folks over the Argentina based GrupoAndroid website have managed to get a couple of images the of the device.
Motorola i1Q iDEN is running on the out-dated Android 2.1 operating system on the low-powered processor, which won’t meet the user requirements.
We don’t have any official announcements regarding the launching dates and locations. But, according to sources, it will debut in South American countries and the Sprint carriers also might be releasing it in the US. Check out another image of the Motorola i1Q iDEN.
