Motorola announced the new moto e32 last week in the mid-range series, and the next smartphone in line to be added to the same Moto E series could be the moto e22s. The manufacturer confirmed through its Twitter account that the new moto e22s will be launched on October 17 in India through Flipkart and select retail stores from October 22nd.
So let’s see what moto e22s gets you. The smartphone is built around 6.5″ IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and delivers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, powered by MediaTek Helio G37 SoC under the hood. There’s only one configuration of the phone in India, and that has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage up to 1 TB using microSD card slot support.
The moto e22s comes in two colors, Arctic Blue and Eco Black colors, and it has a 16-megapixel main camera alongside 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front inside the punch hole. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner sits in the power button, and it is also IP52-rated for dust and water resistance, which isn’t a lot of resistance.

The device comes equipped with a bigger 5,000mAh battery, and the charger that comes in the box is dissatisfyingly only 10W. The device comes preinstalled with the old Android 12 OS out of the box.
There is still no word on the price details of the moto e22s handset yet. Anyway, the Moto e22s measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49 mm, and it weighs 184g, and it is priced at 159 euros in Europe.
