In late July, Sprint officially revealed its plans to launch the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE handset in the near future. But the Now network mum on the specific release date and price tag of the handset. It looks like, the new QWERTY slider is getting ready to hit the stores in the coming weeks. The folks over PhoneDog are claiming that Sprint is aiming to get the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE handset on shelves beginning August 19th.
Look wise, Motorola Photon Q is almost identical to Motorola Droid 4 with the same QWERTY-slider with 4G LTE radio inside and it packs 4.3 inch qHD screen with 540 X 960 pixels of resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, dual LED flash for the 8MP camera with1080p HD video capturing capability, NFC with Android Beam, HDMI out, BT 4.0, 1785mAh battery and ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It has been also confirmed that the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE will ship with bootloader unlock tool, which lets you to install custom recovery utilities on the device.
