All these years, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip phones had no rivals in the foldable segment. Last week, Oppo launched the Find N2 Flip with bigger and more usable cover display as the true Galaxy Z Flip 4 rival by undercutting. It looks like Motorola’s next foldable flip phone is also aiming to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series by apparently making its entire panel a display. Last week, we learned that Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be having a bigger cover display than that of the Oppo Find N2 Flip.
Thanks to Evan “evleaks” Blass, even though the handset in these renders hasn’t been labeled, there’s a strong chance that it to be the next generation Razr. These renders are showing a huge outer screen, which looks like almost the entire outer portion is taken over by the display, and also have dual-camera layout with LED flash. Previous year’s Razr 2022 also has cutouts for the dual cameras.
Take these renders with a pinch of salt, as these may be unfinished renders of the device, and seems not fully representation of the final product. But these renders coincide with the leaked image (pictured below) of the alleged Razr 2023 we came through over a week ago originate from TheTechOutlook. Nothing much has been revealed about the Motorola Razr 2023 by the source.
We expect the next iteration of the Razr phone to feature a p-OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 4000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, 64MP+13MP dual camera setup on the back side, and 1 32MP selfie shooter on the front.
