Motorola Spyder, which was earlier leaked as Motorola Droid HD has leaked once again today, this time with more clarity on its specifications. Apparently guys over at ThisIsMyNext have received some images of a new device named Motorola Spyder which is the Verizon’s version of the Motorola Droid RAZR. The phone is apparently labelled as Motorla Droid RAZR in the “About” section of the Android Settings. It could be that Motorola hasn’t finalized its name, and hence we’re hearing two names for the same device.
As far the specs are concerned, it fares similar to the recent Motorola DROID Bionic. The Motorola Spyder rumored to feature a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display [540 x 960 pixels] with Gorilla Glass, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (possibly a TI OMAP 4430 ?), 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording capability and image stabilization, a full HD (1280 x 720) front-facing camera (that’s a huge plus!!), 4G LTE connectivity. This smartphone too will come with Motorola’s accessories like Webtop etc. much like the recent Motorola Android smartphones.
No information as of yet on the pricing and availability of the smartphone. So is this going to be next big Moto smarty for Verizon after DROID Bionic? We’d really like to know more about this beast. We’ll keep you updated as and when we get more info.
