It seems Best Buy is putting up pre-order for Motorola XOOM starting February 17th at an extremely high price of $1,199.99! Well everybody is quite shocked of this number and we are hoping that this will reduce significantly. Previously it was expected that it will be available at $799 from 24th Feb. Interestingly there is a “Great financing offer” available but it will be meaningless with the price we’re seeing.
Android 3.0 honeycomb powered Motorola XOOM Tablet is sporting 10.1-inch HD touch display, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, HDMI & USB ports, also features a 5MP camera with LED flash light, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G/LTE connectivity, Android Market, and so on. XOOM tablet is expected to go on sale for a price so high that it will beat Apple’s 32GB 3G iPad price tag. The current tag is quite convincing that this will be the costliest tablet.
