Motorola Xoom finally launches February 24th at a not very cheap price of $799.99. Verizon Wireless will be offering 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB monthly plans that will retail for $20, $35, $50, and $80 respectively.
Android 3.0 honeycomb powered Motorola XOOM Tablet is sporting 10.1-inch HD touch display, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, HDMI & USB ports, also features a 5MP camera with LED flash light, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G/LTE connectivity, Android Market, and so on.
The Motorola XOOM tablet is expected to go on sale for a price so high that it will beat Apple’s 32GB 3G iPad price tag of $729. The price agrees with one of the earliest leaks from Verizon’s own systems. So it will be a heartbreaking experience for the Android fans and their hope by this month end.
