HTC is gearing up to announce a no. of handsets at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event this month in Barcelona. We’ve already gotten a pretty good look at the unannounced HTC Ville and the quad-core processor equipped HTC Edge handsets. Now, get ready for another round of the “Unheard Android Phone Caught in the Wild” series.
A set of the photos of an unheard HTC-made Android device have surfaced online, which were just handed to the folks at Phone Arena. The handset is running Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, but the source couldn’t get any idea on the brand name and carrier availability of this handset. The back side of the handset looks an awful lot like the HTC Droid Incredible 2 handset.
According to the source, this phone is having the following features:
# Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
# HTC Sense UI 4.0 customizations.
# An unknown sized AMOLED display (it’ not S-LCD).
# Dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
# A VGA shooter out front, and an 8MP shooter ’round back.
# 1GB RAM.
# 4G LTE.
# 4 hardware keys.
We guess we will see lot of changes on this handset until it finally available to purchase. The source is expecting this handset could be called as HTC Droid Incredible 3. This could also be the rumored HTC Fireball. As the MWC event is around the corner, expect plenty more leaks of this handset in the following days. So what exactly is this phone? Tell us what do you think about this mystery Android handset?
