T-mobile‘s Android powered myTouch 4G smartphone is capable of the new Super-Fast HSPA+ Network. myTouch HD was Designed by HTC exclusively for T-Mobile. It is capable of spontaneous face-to-face conversations through Video Chat and the ability to reach 4G speeds on T-Mobile’s new network(with or without Wi-Fi). Video calls are not limited to Wi-Fi alone, they can go through 3G and HSPA+ too.
myTouch features 3.8-inch WVGA touch-screen display with Virtual keyboard and Swype, Android 2.2 OS Froyo, next gen Qualcomm Snapdragon1GHz MSM8255 processor, 5-megapixel camera 720p video recording, a preinstalled 8 GB micro-SD memory card.
myTouch 4G is quiet similar to HTC T-Mobile G2, major difference is Qwerty key board and HSPA+ capability.
Based on the current 4G speeds in US, this device has theoretical capability of 14.4 Mbps. myTouch also features Genius Button, which lets customers call, text, e-mail or access the internet with a simple voice command. Now the Genius Button got even smarter, it will read out SMS to you, ask you if you want to respond.
With the help of 4G speeds on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, the new myTouch delivers a faster and more compelling experience than most other competing smartphones. myTouch features a second aka front-facing cam as well, becoming the first phone from T-Mobile (and one of the first in the States, of course) to offer video calling.
