We already reported that Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil 8 Android low to mid range devices in the first quarter of this year. Among the Android devices, a Samsung device codenamed HomeSync bearing model number GT-B9150 is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
This time, a new report claims that besides the aforementioned mid range Android devices, Samsung will announce a new mid-range Android smartphone later this month in China.
The upcoming Unnamed smartphone will be running Android 4.0.4 called Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4-inch WVGA LCD display, a 3 megapixel camera, based on Cortex A5 1GHz architecture, and the device will have Samsung’s new Touch-wiz interface called Nature UX. It will support A-GPS / BT v3.0 / USB v2.0 / WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) / Wi-Fi Direct, and in order to run the smartphone, Samsung will pack with a 1500 mAH Battery.
You can expect that it will be available in other regions as well very soon just after the device is launched in China. We have no information how much the device will cost. We’ll let you know when we have more about it.
