That was fast. The CM team has begun working out on CM10 nightlies for Google’s new family of Nexus devices. We’ve some good news for the early adapters of the Google Nexus 4 handset, who are looking forward to install the CM 10.1 based ROM on their handsets. The first CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly Build is now available for the Nexus 4 (mako) handset. This build is based on Android 4.2, but not the 4.2.1 build that hit yesterday to fix the December month missing bug.
It’s worth noting that CM team has also announced CM 10.1 nightly build will be up and running on the Nexus 10 (manta) tablets as soon as it’s ready.
Hit the link below to grab the first CM10.1 nightly build for nexus 4. Please remember that nightly builds are the bleeding edge, but they aren’t “stable” builds, so you may run into a bug here or there. Proceed on your own risk. You can get the suitable version of Google Apps from here.
