The Nikon Coolpix S800c runs full-fledged Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, sporting a 3.5-inch approximately 819k-dot OLED touchscreen, EXPEED C2 processing engine, a 10x optical zoom lens, xenon flash, 16 megapixel Backside Illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor, full 1080p HD video recording capability with stereo sound, Lens-shift VR image stabilization compensates for camera shake to help concede crisper and clearer pictures, HDMI out, built-in GPS for excessive geotagging, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, 1.7GB memory storage, memory expandable via microSD cards, built in Google apps, support for Google Play and special effects when shooting pictures or movies
The device comes preinstalled with “my Picturetown for Android” app and “Upload to Smart Device” app that can be used to transfer high-resolution photos and movies to smart devices running the Android or iOS operating system with the help of Wi-Fi connectivity. It has also got WPS for for a fast secure push-button connection.
