We’ve been hearing a lot about Nokia’s next Symbian product, which is rumored to be Nokia N8’s follow-up, codenamed Nokia 803 as the final Symbian OS powered handset, running Belle software version. A couple of days back, Nokia has started rolling out the Belle OS update for the Symbian ^3/Anna running handsets. Recently, we heard about the unconfirmed Nokia 801, which is also rumored be the final Symbian handset. Now, BGR is reporting that the Nokia 803 should be the final Symbian handset to come from Nokia.
According to a trusted source, BGR says that Nokia 803 handset will be shipped with Belle OS, packs a 4-inch AMOLED display, but no mention of ClearBlack technology (previous reports suggested a 3.5” WVGA ClearBlack display), HDMI port, NFC connectivity and microSIM slot. The biggest news is that the Nokia 803 will feature a camera sensor, which is said to be even bigger than the N8’s and the largest camera sensor to date, while the lens may feature an optical zoom. According to the previous rumors, it will be also equipped with a 1GHz (should be single-core) processor, 512MB RAM.
The source hints that Nokia 803 will hit the markets around May. Obviously, no word unveiling date and the price tag of the Nokia 803 handset. We guess a Mobile World Congress debut this month in Barcelona.
