As couple of days ago, we reported about the invites from Nokia public relations for the launch event of the Nokia Windows Phone 8 handsets at New Delhi, India on January 10th. Finally, the Finnish mobile company has officially announced the much awaited high-end spec’d Nokia Lumia 920, mid-range spec’d Nokia Lumia 820 and a low-end spec’d Lumia 620 for India, and the price points the handsets will be available on.
The Lumia 920 will be available combined with a polycarbonate in black, white, red and yellow, while the Lumia 820 comes in Red, Yellow, White, Black and Cyan. The budget priced Lumia 620 will shine in Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and White colored editions.
Nokia Lumia 920 packs a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display (you can also operate it with gloves on your hand) with 1280 by 768 pixels of resolution, 8.7-megapixel PureView Phase 2 camera with Carl Zeiss optics. There’s a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus dual-core processor, a full gigabyte of RAM, 32GB native storage, wireless charging capability, 2,000mAh battery, and it will support a total of nine 4G bands and five WCDMA bands in India.
Nokia Lumia 820 will have a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP main camera (sans Nokia’s PureView technology), 8GB internal storage, 32GB memory expansion via microSD card slot, 1,650mAh battery.
Nokia Lumia 620 is a nice phone, which comes with a 3.8-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) screen, 512MB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, a 5 megapixel main camera plus a front facing shooter, 8GB eMMC, 1,300mAh battery.
All the aforementioned Nokia Lumia phones will come preinstalled with a suite of exclusive Nokia apps – Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music, Cinematograph, CityLens, and Mix Radio.
Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be available to purchase from tomorrow, January 11th for Rs.38,199 and Rs.27,559 respectively. No word on exact launch date and the price info of the Lumia 620 handset. Nokia has hinted that the Lumia 620 will start shipping in India sometime in February.
