Nokia has officially announced the new Nokia C5-00 5MP, the successor to its earlier Nokia C5-00 model. Design wise it still looks the same as the older version though specs wise the new model has got an impressive boost. As the name suggests, the phone has now got a 5 megapixel camera around its back compared to the 3 megapixel snapper that the old C5 was sporting. Nokia has also increased the phone’s memory by adding a 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM to the device. The internal memory of the phone has also been upped to 270MB.
Coming to other specs which remain same as that of the earlier Nokia C5-00 are: 2.2-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels of resolution, 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, Symbian S60 OS, a front-facing video camera, microSD storage up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB port, 3G HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, A-GPS, Ovi Maps 3.0, powered by a 1050mAh Li-Ion battery. The phone will be available in white, grey and black variants.
Pricing And Availability:
The price details of the Nokia C5-00 5MP haven’t been announced yet. The phone is expected to be available in Q3 2011.
