We have to say Nokia phones these days are not getting much support from the American wireless carriers. We are hardly seeing any Nokia phones (T-Mobile’s Nokia Astound is an exception) being picked up by carriers. Now another new Nokia mobile phone, the Nokia E6 is debuting in the US mobile phone market unlocked. Nokia has put up its new Symbian Anna powered Nokia E6 for pre-order at Amazon for $446. The page also shows the possible shipping duration as “1-2 months”. This is an unlocked GSM version which means it will only work on AT&T and T-Mobile 3G bands currently.
Nokia E6 is powered by the latest Symbian Anna OS (also available on Nokia X7) and features a 2.46-inch VGA touch display, packs a 680MHz processor, full QERTY keyboard, 256MB RAM, 1GB ROM, an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and support for 720p HD video recording, MicroSD card slot for support up to 32GB with 8GB card already included in the box, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps speeds support, Nokia Ovi Maps with turn-by-turn navigation and more.
