The Finnish mobile maker officially took the wraps off its another new addition to its Windows Phone line-up – the new Nokia Lumia 620 handset. It ships with the latest edition of the Microsoft mobile platform and it has become the most affordable Windows Phone 8 handset up to date. Lumia 620 might be considered as a tough competitor to the HTC Windows Phone 8S handset, which was announced recently alongside the high-end spec’d HTC 8X handset. Future buyers of the Lumia 620 handsets would get access to the exclusive Nokia Drive app with free lifetime voice-guided navigation and offline access and the manufacturer will also offer the Nokia Music streaming service.
Nokia says that the handset “uses a new dual-shot color technique to deliver a variety of striking color and texture effects.” and it will hit the stores in in a range of colors including it black, white, lime green, cyan, orange, magenta, and yellow.

Nokia will start selling the new Lumia 620 handset in January of next year for $249 (off-contract) excluding taxes and subsidies. It will first debut in Asia first, followed by Europe and the Middle East.
