While this year’s big mobile event – Mobile World Congress is just around the corner, we would be hearing more and more mobile-related rumors. We are already hearing the rumors that HTC and LG are expected to be announcing their first quad-core chipset equipped handsets – HTC Endeavor and LG X3 at the upcoming event. We also heard about the quad-core Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy S II Plus handsets. We’ve already seen an alleged render of the rumored Galaxy S II Plus handset. But, Sammy has already confirmed that it won’t be available at the event this year. Now, it’s Nokia’s turn to enter the rumor mill. A new rumor is suggesting that Nokia is set to announce the new Nokia Lumia 730 Windows Phone at the MWC event. Lumia 730 is said to be the successor of the affordable Nokia Lumia 710 handset.
Earlier in January, Nokia has announced the AT&T variant of the Nokia Lumia 900 handset, as the follow-up to the Nokia Lumia 800 handset. So, why shouldn’t we guess about the follow-up to the Nokia Lumia 710. So it seems Nokia Lumia 730’s appearance at the MWC event is very much up in the air.
According to the source, Nokia Lumia 730 handset comes with an high-end 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, capacitive buttons, as well as LTE and CDMA connectivity. WPDang expects that it won’t pack the ClearBlack Display screen and polycarbonate body. The price tag of the Nokia Lumia 703 handset should be in-line with the affordable Nokia Lumia 710 handset. We should soon find out if those rumors are true or not.
