So, it has got everything. It has PureView tech’s arrival on the Windows Phone and new screen technology. It can connect to 4G LTE network. It supports wireless charging with an optional backplate (Nokia calls it Fatboy wireless charging pillow) using built-in Qi standard and works with JBL retro boombox speaker. Nokia has introduced new screen called PureMotion HD+, which is being described as the “fastest LCD display” with up to 2.5 times faster refresh rate and new supersensitive touch technology. its new ClearBlack technology iteration lets the screen color and brightness will adjusts automatically to appear most visible in bright environments and you can also operate it with gloves.
Nokia brings new “floating Lens” technology for the Lumia 920 and the company is calling it “PureView Phase 2,” which is more effective than the optical image stabilization on many dedicated digital cameras. You’ve got an 8.7MP sensor with no lossless zooming capabilities. The biggest disappointment is the lacking of the microSD card slot. The phone can also interact with NFC-enabled accessories like speakers and headphones. It will also ships with various preinstalled apps including Noia City Lens, which is an augmented reality app, to let you find nearby cafes, restaurants, places, cinemas and more. There will be also Nokia Drive and Maps, updated hubs and system app. Nokia will also put wireless charging stations at Virgin Atlantic and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, so that you can charge your phone when you are out.
Good news is that Microsoft has confirmed native screenshot mode, pinch-to-zoom capability, a “lenses” option for third-party image filters in the latest WP8 platform.
There is no word yet on pricing and availability information for the Nokia Lumia 920 phone. So, stay tuned.
