We do know that OnePlus Ace 2 is still on track to be released, and it Aces 2 is almost upon us. Code-named PHK110, it recently showed up at CMIIT, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, for certification and approval purposes. Though the listing doesn’t reveal a precise launch date yet, we do know it’s coming soon-ish.
The Ace 2 will be launched as the successor to the original Ace, which made its debut in April f last year. A short list of specs also listed on the organization’s website portal. According to the listing, OnePlus Ace 2 will have 5G connectivity, dual-SIM, and it will be backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W superfast charging speeds support.
The latest reports claim that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be rebranded as OnePlus 11R, which will be sold in India, and other parts of the world in very soon. The manufacturer officially launched the long awaited OnePlus 11 in last week, which is scheduled to launch for global markets on Feb 6th, 2023 in India.
The OnePlus Ace 2 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch curved-edge OLED display with a punch-hole in the center, offering a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, reportedly paired up with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
For photography, it will have a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP unit. Around the front, it could have either 16MP or 32MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery will power the device, and it has support for 100W superfast charging speeds.
The OnePlus Ace 2 will ship with Android 13 based ColorOS 13 build in China, and if it launches globally as the OnePlus 11R, it will run on OxygenOS 13 instead of ColorOS.
