The OnePlus Ace 2 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was already launched in China earlier this month few days ago, and also made official for the overseas markets as OnePlus 11R. Now, it’s the non-Snapdragon sibling’s turn. This time, the OnePlus Ace 2 features Dimensity processor instead.
It has now surfaced on AnTuTu where some of the handset’s specs have been revealed. According to the benchmark result, the OnePlus Ace 2 is going to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 processor with Mali-G710 MC10 graphics processor coupled with 16GB LPDDR5/5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The chipset is made of a Cortex-X2 core (clocked at 3.05GHz), 3 × Cortex-A710 cores (clocked at 2.85GHz each), and 4 × Cortex-A 510 cores (each clocked at 1.8GHz). The unit on AnTuTu was carrying the model number PHP110, and the result of the benchmark was just over 1 million points, which is expected for this MediaTek chipset.
The device will run Android 13 with ColorOS 13 UI out of the box. The OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity edition is expected to feature different design on the back compared with the original phone. There could be a 50 MP camera (compared to 64 MP shooter on original Ace 2) with OmniVision sensor, and the charging speed could be downgraded down to 80W, from 100W of original Ace 2. It’s worth mentioning Xiaomi, vivo, and Honor all have recently launched smartphones with 100W charging and Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The device will have a 6.74” AMOLED with 1240p resolution and a 16 MP selfie camera, an under-display fingerprint reader, GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port.
